PCAA March Fundraiser – Authors: Luis Urrea & Gary Nabhan

Award winning journalists Todd Miller and Melissa del Bosque interview these renowned authors at Patagonia’s Tin Shed Theater about Nabhan’s new book, Against the American Grain: A Borderlands History of Resistance and its inclusion of Mexican healer and revolutionary, Santa Teresa de Cabora, Urrea’s great aunt and the subject of his book, The Hummingbird’s Daughter.

Join us for an illuminating conversation that bridges the past and present to inform contemporary resistance in the Borderlands.

Interview and audience questions will become a future podcast of The Border Chronicle.

Sorry, we are sold out!

Each year our artists here at the Patagonia Creative Arts Association partner with The Santa Cruz Training Programs and The Santa Fe Ranch to deliver a series of engaging monthly workshops. This project empowers participants to realize their potential as artists, provides meaningful participation through hands-on experiences, and culminate in an exhibition to connect people with disabilities with the larger Santa Cruz County community.

This sessions exhibition was made into a mini- documentary that highlights our collaborations and the meaningfulness of the program.
